Mr. Rajeev S. Algundgi is a technocrat with 32 years of experience in tubular glass containers of which 12 years have been dedicated to the service of homeopathy. A post graduate in Organic Chemistry from Bombay University, Mr. Rajeev has been significantly devoted to changing the current norms of dispensing Homeopathic medicines in Plastic. He has attended several Homoeopathic seminars held in Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Goa to propagate the idea of using glass containers instead of plastic for dispensing of medicines.
As the phials offered are basically allopathic injectable containers, there was a need to develop the accessories like caps and droppers to suit these bottles. Since no such product was available in the market, he took upon the challenge of developing moulds for the manufacturing of caps and droppers. All the accessories available are designed by him.
For the first three to four years Mr. Rajeev travelled extensively all over India to educate the Homeopathic fraternity about bad effects of Plastic on Homeopathic medicines. He was able to convince a majority to shift back to glass, the way Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the Father of Homeopathy, practised.
